In most cases, classes are held on our main campus, providing you with state-of-the-art facilities and immersion in our welcoming community. Occasionally, courses or programs may be offered in alternative modalities.
Physical Education, MS or MEd
Prepare for careers in physical education and health promotion through coursework in pedagogy, motor learning and development, health and wellness, and athletic administration. In our physical education master’s program, you can choose to concentrate in adapted physical education, athletic leadership, or health promotion and disease prevention, or earn your initial teaching license.
Exercise Physiology, MS or MEd
Gain a broad grasp on the field of exercise physiology through a variety of physiology coursework. In our exercise physiology master’s program, you can choose to pursue a clinical exercise physiology (CEP) track, which prepares students for entry-level clinical exercise physiologist positions, or a human performance track, which prepares students for careers focusing on human performance in non-clinical settings.
Health Promotion and Health Equity, MEd
Develop a deeper understanding of the economic, social, environmental, political, and health issues impacting vulnerable populations. In our health promotion master’s program, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills necessary to drive policy changes, evaluate needs, identify assets, and solve pressing health-related challenges. This program is 100% online.
Athletic Training, MS
Gain the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed to provide quality health care to those engaged in physically active lifestyles. Upon graduating our MS in Athletic Training program, you’ll be eligible to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC®) National Athletic Training Certification Examination. After successful completion of this exam, you’ll be a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
